Chau-Ming Lee

Executive Director
Chau-ming oversees AACA’s five major components: Education Center, Workforce Development, Multi-Service Center, Sampan Newspaper and youth center with an annual budget of $3.2 million, and has been with the agency since 1982. Before joining AACA, Chau-ming spent 5 years as a Social Worker at Tufts-New England Medical Center. Chau-ming participates on the leadership level at a number of organizations and represents the Asian community on the Boston Private Industry Council. Chau-ming holds a bachelor’s degree from Hong Kong University and Graduate Studies from Boston College. |
Sunny Schwartz

Deputy Director
Sunny directs AACA’s Workforce Development Center and has been with the agency since 2005. Before joining AACA, Sunny worked at Commonwealth Corporation, a quasi-public state agency that develops and implements workforce development programs throughout Massachusetts. Sunny holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. |
Richard Goldberg

Director of Education
Richard directs AACA’s Education Center and has been with the agency since 1992. Before coming to AACA, Richard spent 19 years as a writer and producer in the news departments of three major Boston television stations. Richard's responsibilities include supervising the Education Center programs and teachers: Adult ESL, ABE, the Boston Adult Self-Sufficiency project (BASS), the evening high intermediate ESL classes, Internet ESL (Distance Learning) and the workplace education program at New England Medical Center.
Richard received a B.A. in Sociology and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts Boston. |
Emily Damiano

Director of Multi Service Center
Emily directs AACA’s Multi-Service Center and has been with the agency since 1999. Her responsibilities include outreach and recruitment for all programs and services. Emily is a native of Hong Kong. She came to the States in 1990 to attain higher education. Her first language is Cantonese, and is fluent in Mandarin. Emily holds a Masters in Psychology and International Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. |
Spencer Klein

Director of Finance
Spencer directs the Fiscal Dept., and provides leadership in financial planning, operations, and reporting for AACA. Before joining AACA, Spencer was Director of Operations for the Center for Workforce Innovation at Commonwealth Corporation a quasi-public organization that develops and operates workforce development programs. Prior to working at CommCorp, Spencer was Manager of Contracting and Finance at the New England Research Institutes. Between the two organizations, Spencer has gained over 18 years of knowledge and experience in Grants and Contracts Management and Sponsored Research Administration. A licensed attorney in Massachusetts and New York, Spencer holds a BFA and MFA, and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. |
